The Big Crab and the Little Crab
A little crab was crawling sideways awkwardly. A big crab sitting by the rock asked, “My little friend, where are you heading? To the north, the south, the east, or the west?”
“I just want to get to the pond,55 said the little crab breathlessly.
“Then isn’t it easier for you to go straight?” said the big crab. “If you crawl sideways like this, I,m afraid you can't make it there!”
The little crab said, “Well, will you be so kind as to show me how to walk straight?”
The big crab started to demonstrate that but failed to do so no matter how hard he tried. The little crab said, “Forget it! It seems I’ll have to keep on crawling sideways, as the biggest member in our family can’t even make it straight!”
Do not criticise someone for a weakness which you yourself have not overcome.
