秘书的英语故事

Napoleon was proud of himself .One day he said to his secretary , ”Believe me, people will remember you forever.”

　　
拿破仑很以自己为荣。有一天他对秘书说：“相信我，人们会永远记住你的。”

　　
“But why?” his secretary asked.

　　
“但是为什么呢？”他的秘书问道。
　　
“Because you are Napoleon’s secretary. People will remember Napoleon’s name forever, and of course .people will never forget his secretary.”

　　
“因为你是拿破仑的秘书。人们会永远记住拿破仑这个名字，当然，人们也就永远不会忘记他的秘书。”

　　
Napoleon’s secretary smiled.”Your majesty, could you tell me who Alexander the Great ’s secretary  is?”

　　
拿破仑的秘书笑了笑，“陛下，您能告诉我亚历山大帝的秘书是谁吗？”

　　
Napoleon looked at him but had nothing to say.

　　
拿破仑看了他一眼，什么也没有说。
