One day, as he was riding into the village on a wagon, the wagon suddenly went berserk! The ogre got hit on the head，and was knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself lying on the floor of an old rusted cage. Soon later, a knight walked up to him with a message from the Prince. The message said he was to go and rescue the Princess from the fire-breathing dragon’s castle. It was a hard battle, but he rescued the princess after two days of fighting the dragon. Princess was very grateful, and he had fallen in love the first moment he saw her but she did not know this. Now the ogre had to take her to marry the Prince,and this broke the ogre’s heart. However, Princess had a dark secret. After sundown, she would turn into an ugly beast, i. e. a female ogre. She resented to tell her rescuer this, because she thought it might offend him. After all, he was an ogre too. But in the end, she didn’t marry the Prince, because the ogres fell in love with each other, and when the male ogre kissed her, she became an ogre for life, and to the male ogre, she was still beautiful. |
