一天夜里，霍甲朝他家的井里一看，结果看到了一轮圆月的影子在水里。 “噢，不好!”他大喊，"月亮从天上掉到井里了 ！" 他跑回房子，拿着一个拴着绳子的钩子回来了。接着，他把钩子扔进水里,开始往上拉月亮,但是钩子卡在了井壁上。霍甲使劲全力，发疯地往上拽。突然，钩子一松，霍甲往后一张，仰面朝天跌在地上。他躺在地上，几乎动也不能动了，抬头一看天空，圆月就在他头顶上方。 “我拉月亮可能伤着自己了，但是我至少把月亮送回原处了！"他说着，一副心满意足的样子。 Saving the Moon One night Hodja looked into his well and saw there the reflection of the full moon. "Oh no!” he exclaimed. "The moon has fallen from the sky and into my well!” He ran into his house and returned with a hook attached to a rope. He then threw the hook into the water and commenced to pull it up again，but it became stuck on the side of the well. Frantically Hodja tugged and pulled with all his might. The hook suddenly came loose, and Hodja fell over backwards, landing flat on his back. Scarcely able to move, he looked up into the sky and saw the full moon above him. “I may have injured myself in doing so," he said with satisfaction, " but at least I got the moon back into the sky where it belongs. ” |
