中英文小故事：我只想得到空气 —位年轻人拜访圣人.求教智慧。 “年轻人，请随我来。”说着，圣人默默地向附近的湖走去。 走到湖边，圣人毫不犹豫地跨进湖里，向湖深处走去。 年轻人别无选择，只好跟随在圣人后面。 湖渐渐深了起来，水浸没到了年轻人的脖子。 然而，圣人毫不介意年轻人恐慌的目光，走得更远了。 水终于浸没了年轻人的头顶。 不久，圣人又默默地转回身，回到湖岸边。 上岸后，圣人用揶揄的口吻问年轻人：“潜入水下时，你有何感觉？除了想上岸，还考虑过别的事吗？” 年轻人马上答道：“我只想得到空气。” 圣人慢慢地教诲道：“正是这样！要想求得智慧，就要像沉入水下时想得到空气一样强烈，这样才能获得！” I Just Wanted the Air A young man visited a sage for wisdom. “Young man, please come with me.” With the words, the sage silently walked towards the lake nearby. Coming to the lake, the sage didn't hesitate to step into the lake and walked to the depths of the lake. The young man had no option but to follow the sage. The lake was getting deeper and deeper, the water immerging the young man’s neck. However, the sage didn’t mind the young man's frightened eyes and went farther. The water finally immersed the young man's head. Shortly afterwards, the sage quietly turned around and returned to the lakeshore. Ashore, the sage asked the young man in a tone of derision, “When you were submerged, how did you feel? Besides trying to go ashore, were you still considering other things?” The young man replied immediately, “I just wanted the air.” The sage instructed slowly, “It is the case! If you want to get wisdom, you should be just as you want the air as strongly as you sank in the water and then you can get wisdom.” |
