中英文小故事：心与心的距离 大师问他的弟子：“为什么在愤怒时，我们会大声喊叫？为什么在烦恼时，我们要冲别人喊叫？” 一名弟子说：“因为我们不够镇定，所以冲别人喊叫。” “但是，为什么当另一个人就在你旁边，你还是选择喊叫呢？难道不能以柔和的语气跟对方说吗？”大师继续问道。 大师解释道：“当两个人都很生气时，他们的心之间的距离很远。为了填补这段距离， 他们必须喊叫，这样彼此才能听到。他们越是愤怒，心和心的距离就越远，他们只能更大声地喊叫，那样他们才能听到。” 大师再次问道：“当两个人相互爱慕，会发生什么呢？他们不需要彼此喊叫，只需轻声交谈，因为心与心的距离变近了。当他们彼此爱得很深，又会发生什么呢？两个人相爱时，他们的心靠得更近，他们甚至不需要说话，只需看着对方，就够了。” The Distance Between Hearts The master asked his disciples, “Why shall we shout out when we get angry? Why shall we yell at each other when we are vexed?” One disciple said, “We are not self-composed" enough, so we yell at each other, “But why do you still choose to shout when the other person is right next to you? Can't you speak to them in a soft voice?” The master continued. The master explained, “When two people are both angry, one heart will become far from another. In order to fill up this distance, they must shout so that one can hear another. The angrier they get, the greater the distance between the two hearts will be, so they will have to shout more loudly, and only in this way can they hear.” The master asked again, “When two adore each other, what will happen? They don’t need to yell at each other but only talk quietly, because the distance between two hearts is shortened. When they love each other more dearly, what will happen then?
