很久以前，有一个国王对他的马夫说，马夫骑着马能跑多远，就会把马跑过的土地赐予他。 马夫二话没说，立刻跳上马，飞奔而去，尽可能跑出更多的路。他一刻也没有停歇，不停地快马加鞭。无论疲惫还是饥饿都不能让他停下来，因为他想跑得再远一点。跑出了相当远的距离后，他已精疲力竭，奄奄一息。 他问自己：“我干吗要勉强自己跑这么远呢？现在我要死了，我需要的也不过就是一小块葬身之地。” 人生旅程也和这个故事中所描述的一样，我们每天竭尽全力地去赚更多的钱，追求权力和名誉，我们忽略了自己的健康，忽视了天伦之乐，顾不得欣赏美景，无暇顾及自己的爱好。有一天我们回首往事的时候，才意识到我们并不需要那么多，然而失去的却已无法追回。 有钱有势，追逐名利并不是生活的目的。生活也绝不只是工作！工作为的是让自己能够享受美好的人生和生活的乐趣。保持工作与休闲，家庭与个人时间的平衡才是真正的生活。如何把握人生的平衡，这得由你来做抉择。 事实上，快乐才是生活的意义和目的，是人生的目的所在。因此，尽量放轻松些，做自己想做的事，欣赏一下自然之美。生命脆弱而短暂，不要漠视生命，要保持生活的平衡，享受人生！ What Is Life About? A long time ago, there was an emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he liked, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he had covered. Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible. He came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he wa、s exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, “Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself. ” The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money，to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love to do. One day when we look back，we will realize that we don’t really need that much， but then we cannot turn back for what we have missed. Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play，Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. In fact, happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life，the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy，do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile，and Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life! |
