一个小女孩每天都要步行上学与放学。那天早上，天气十分奇怪，乌云密布,但她还是像往常一样上学去了。 午后，狂风大作,雷电交加。小女孩的母亲十分担心,生怕女儿在回家的路上会被吓坏，也害怕孩子会受到暴风雨的袭击。天上划过一道道闪电，然后是一阵轰隆隆的声音，就像一把在炉里烧红的铸剑要划破长空。 母亲忐忑不安，于是便很快上了车沿着孩子上学的路开去了。 正当开着车的时候，她看见自己的女儿正沿路回家，不过每当划过一道闪电，她就会停下脚步，然后望望天空,接着便露出微笑。闪电一道接一道地划破长空,小女孩也一次次驻足,仰望天空,然后微笑。 后来，母亲呼唤女儿到她身边，并问道：“你在干吗?”孩子答道:“微笑啊,上帝一直不停地为我拍照呢!” The Scary Storm A little girl walked daily to and from school. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trip to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school, and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child. Following the roar of thunder, lightning, like a flaming sword would cut through the sky. Full of concern, the mother quickly got in her car and drove along the route to her child’s school. As she did so,she saw her little girl walking along,but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up and smile. Another and another were to follow quickly, each with the little girl stopping,looking up and smiling. Finally,the mother called over to her child and asked, “What are you doing?” The child answered，“Smiling，God just keeps taking pictures of me! ’’ |
