小孩子认了真,第二天就提笔给当时的首相撒切尔夫人写了这样一封信—— "Last night when we were saying prayers, my Daddy said everyone has done wrong things except Jesus. I said I don't think you have done bad things because you are the prime minister. Am I right or is my Daddy?"
There will be times when we say or do something we wish we hadn’t done and we shall be sorry and try not to do it again!(很多时候我们对我们做过的事或者说过的话感到后悔,我们会感到抱歉,下决心以后再也不这样了!)
We do our best, but our best is not as good as his daily life. If you and I were to paint a picture it wouldn’t be as good as the picture of great artists. No our lives can’t be as good as the life of Jesus.(我们做最大的努力,但做多大的努力也比不上耶稣。
As Prime Minister, I try very hard to do things right and because Jesus gave us a perfect example I try even harder. But your father is right in saying that we can never be as perfect as He was.(作为首相,我努力把事情做好,因为耶稣给了我们树立了光辉榜样,我会更加努力。
