一只蜗牛厌倦了自己行动缓慢的坏名声,决定买一辆快速车来改变自己的形象。四处转了一会，他觉得达特之子240—Z这辆车正合心意，就来到最近一家经销商说想买这辆车，但是要把Z改成S。经销商问：‘‘为什么要改成S呢？’’蜗牛回答道："S代表着我的名字。我驱车呼啸而过时，我想让所有人知道是我蜗牛在驾驶。” 当然，经销商可不想失去卖车给蜗牛这千载难逢的机会,所以收了一点费用后就把Z漆成了S. 蜗牛买了新车后，余下的时间就在高速公路上以最快速度一路狂飙，他感到兴奋极了。可是无论谁看到他疾速驶过时，都只是说：“看呀，这S型车还真够快的！” A Snail Buys a Fast New Car There is a snail that is sick and tired of his reputation for being so slow. He decides to get some fast wheels to make up the difference. After shopping around a while, he decides that the Datson 240-Z is the car to get. So the snail goes to the nearest Datson dealer and says he wants to buy the 240-Z, but he wants it repainted “240-S”. The dealer asks, “Why ‘ S，？，，The snail replies, “ ‘ S，stands for snail. I want everybody who sees me roaring past to know who’s driving. ” Well, the dealer doesn't want to lose the unique opportunity to sell a car to a snail, so he agrees to have the car repainted for a small fee. The snail gets his new car and spends the rest of his days roaring happily down the highway at top speed. And whenever anyone see him zooming by, they say, “Wow! Look at that S-car go!’ |
