中英文小故事：禅师与小偷 一天夜里，一位在山中修行的禅师在皎洁月光下的林间小路上散完步，回到自己的茅屋时，正好碰上有个小偷光顾他的茅舍。他怕惊动小偷，便一直站在门口等候。 小偷找不到值钱的东西，返身离去时看到了禅师，正感到惊慌时，禅师说：“你走老远的山路来探望我，总不能让你空手而归！”说着，脱下了身上的外衣，“夜里凉，你穿着这件衣服走吧。” 说着，禅师就把衣服披在了小偷身上。小偷不知所措，低着头溜走了。 禅师看着小偷的背影，感慨地说：“可怜的人呀，但愿我能送你一轮明月！” 第二天，暖阳普照。禅师睁开眼睛，看到昨晚披在小偷身上的那件外衣整齐地叠放在了门口。禅师非常高兴，喃喃说道：“我终于送了他一轮明月……” The Buddhist Monk and a Thief One night, a Buddhist monk who cultivated himself in the mountain walked from the woods path in the bright moonlight and went back to his cottage when he happened to run into a thief there. He was afraid to startle the thief, so he kept waiting at the door. The thief couldn’t find any valuable thing. When he turned to leave，he saw the monk. He was in a panic, but the monk said, “Since you came from afar to visit me, after all I can’t let you back empty-handed!” With that, he undressed his cloak. “It’s chilly in the night, so you can go with this cloak.” Then, the monk draped the clothes over the thief. Out of his wits, the thief slipped away with his head lowered. Seeing off the thief, the monk said with emotion, “Poor man, I wish I could send you a moon!” The next day the warm sun shone. The monk opened his eyes and saw the cloak he had draped over the thief the previous night was neatly folded on the doorstep. The monk was very pleased and said, “I finally sent him a moon...” |
