吐spit[英][spɪt] [美][spɪt] 中英文小故事：男孩吐了一口唾沫 那是冬天寒冷的一天，一位老人来到一个结冰的湖面上，在冰上凿一个洞，放下他的鱼线，开始等待鱼上钩。 他等待有将近一个小时，没有一点收获的时候，一个小男孩走到冰上，在不太远的冰面上凿一个洞，放下他的鱼线。 只花了一分钟，砰！大条黑鲈咬住鱼钩、男孩把鱼拉上来。 老人不能相信，那不过只是运气。但是，男孩放下鱼线后，又在几分钟内把一条鱼钓了上来。 最后，老人始终没有任何收获。他不明白是怎么回事。 他对小男孩说，“孩子，我已经在这里等了一个小时，甚至没有一点收获。你在这里只有几分钟，抓住了约有半打的鱼！你是怎么做到的？” 那个男孩答道，“袋鼠RAF ROO reep RA朗姆酒rrarm。” 那是什么呀。老人问。 小男孩回答说，“袋鼠RAF ROO reep RA朗姆酒rarrm。” “看，”老人说，“我不明白你所说的话。” 男孩吐了一口唾沫到他的手上，说，“你必须保持蠕虫的温暖！” It was a cold winter day, when an old man walked out onto a frozen lake, cut a hole in the ice, dropped in his fishing line and began waiting for a fish to bite. He was there for almost an hour without even a nibble when a young boy walked out onto the ice, cut a hole in the ice not too far from the old man and dropped in his fishing line. It only took about a minute and WHAM! a Largemouth Bass hit his hook and the boy pulled in the fish. The old man couldn't believe it but figured it was just luck. But, the boy dropped in his line and again within just a few minutes pulled in another one. This went on and on until finally the old man couldn't take it any more since he hadn't caught a thing all this time. He went to the boy and said, "Son, I've been here for over an hour without even a nibble. You have been here only a few minutes and have caught about half a dozen fish! How do you do it?" The boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rrarm." "What was that?" the old man asked. Again the boy responded, "Roo raf roo reep ra rums rarrm." "Look," said the old man, "I can't understand a word you are saying." So, the boy spit into his hand and said, "You have to keep the worms warm!" |
