星期日早上，魔鬼决定去一趟教堂。 教堂的门突然开了，魔鬼来了。除了两个人之外，人们都在往教堂外面跑，这两个人，一个是牧师，另一种是一个老农民。 撒旦有点困惑。他指着牧师说，“你！我可以理解为什么你不跑，你在你的主人耶和华的殿里。但你（指农民），你为什么不会吓得像其他人一样？” 农民慢吞吞地说，“为什么，我很惊讶你不认识我了……我跟你妹妹已经结婚60年了！”
The doors burst open, the devil came in. People run outdoors, except for two. One is the Pastor, the other is an elderly farmer. Satan is a bit perplexed. He points to the Pastor and says, "You! I can understand why you didn't run away, you are in your Lord's house. But YOU (points to the farmer), why didn't you run out scared like everyone else?"
The farmer drawls, "Why, I'm surprised you don't recognize me...I've been married to your sister for 60 years!" |
