“是的。”我回答道，并继续写手中的报告。
“我妈妈说，如果我需要帮助，我应该找警察。是吗？”
“是的，是的！”我告诉她。
“好吧，那么，”她把一只脚伸向我：“请你把我的鞋带系上。”
While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was interrupted by a little girl about six years old. Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, "Are you a police officer?"
